Project Coordinator

The U  Group is a forward-thinking and innovative organisation dedicated to revolutionising the data industry. As a Project Coordinator you will help us support our clients as well as ensure the delivery of our ongoing projects. You’ll be working with a mix of in office and offshore resources, who will be delivering everything from data checks, machine learning model improvements, software development and commercial delivery. You’ll have a proficiency for managing multiple tasks across different clients and teams, tracking client timelines and deliverables, triaging new issues raised by our client, and ensuring the right task goes to the right person.
Job Summary:
This role primarily involves monitoring and managing a mixture of tasks related to ongoing projects as well as supporting existing clients requests through our support portal.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Monitoring our existing projects and timelines and ensuring new issues raised by our client are communicated to the team
  • Organisation: Keep project timelines, tasks, and resources well-organised to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
  • Customer Support: Manage regular and ad hoc support requests from our clients and ensuring our team delivers on requests in a timely manner
  • Stakeholder Management: Keeping key leadership team members and stakeholders informed on project deliverables and sharing meeting minutes and actions as required
  • Remote Team Management: Coordinate and lead remote teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Excel Expertise: Utilise advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills to write formulas, create spreadsheets, and perform data analysis. We are a data company.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and develop strategies to streamline and improve workflows. When something isn’t working you need to call it out.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and open communication channels with remote teams, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise and escalate issues which require attention from the Engineering team
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including instructions and guidelines for remote teams.
Qualifications and skills:
  • Proven experience managing tasks involving multidisciplinary teams
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to write formulas and use advanced functions. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with teams.
  • Good problem-solving abilities to address issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to break down processes into manageable instructions for remote team members.
  • Basic understanding of statistics and an interest in data analysis is a plus.
  • Experience working in technology and/or marketing companies is a bonus
